You should not mess around with stuff you find in abandoned shopping centres.

The thing with this one is, I sort of believe that the book referenced below exists.

This one almost made me call the police.

You will find escalators in any decent shopping centre. Monfeld is no different, although they have long since shut down.

There must be a large crew of workers behind the scenes of any shopping centre. The place needs cleaning, and has to be secure. Anyone needed for logistics will require facilities.

I visited the burger joint in Monfeld a few times. The menu was always junky and overpriced. That weird halfway house between a proper franchise and something homecooked.

But my story today comes from someone who was a big fan. This is another tale where I am impressed by the physicality of what happens. You cannot dismiss this as a trick of the light.

This is not my usual interviewee. They treat Monfeld as a playground, and the building would not last long if everyone acted like this. At the same time, their story is remarkable. I guess this could happen anywhere, and is not technically supernatural. But something about the volume suggests intent.
