Sorry folks. This year’s Butter Mouse is another crazy one. We managed to get the machine in some kind of working order. But the receiver still functions for brief windows of time. We remain telling individual tales.
Our new tactic worked for a while at least. We calibrated the different dimensions by focusing on a single word. After a little experimentation, we settled on ‘sea.’
Actual water poured out of the machine on the first attempt. Then we heard nothing but whale song for three days. But at last we made contact with another world.
The quality was ropey, like they were broadcasting through broken, dated speakers. But we spoke to real people, who told us their stories. Their portraits appeared on the screen in tandem.
Then for months and months we got nothing but pictures of the same beach. We’ve looked, but it does not tie into any specific location on Earth. Nice scenery though!
I do not know how much this resolves about the Butter Mouse. But we have found some brilliant tales. Dive within, and find out more.
